Legends Never Die: The 2025 World Tour Recap
A backstage pass to the moments that defined our 2025 cybersecurity tour
- In 2025, our Legends Never Die tour took us to major conferences across the globe for expert-led sessions, security demos, and partner events.
- Our teams focused on sharing the latest threat intel, creating AI-driven innovation, and delivering enterprise-grade security for all.
- The outcome was a connected community aligned around shared challenges and stellar defenses.
In 2025, we took to the road (and skies) to deliver unforgettable walkthroughs, insight-packed talks, and proven defenses at well over ten conferences around the world—many of which we proudly showed up alongside the incredible teams from our global Catalyst Partners.
Across endpoint, network, and data security, Symantec and Carbon Black strode forth with the latest ML- and AI-powered innovations built to accurately predict threats and give control back to overwhelmed SOCs. Our tried, trusted, and truly battle-ready defenses earned a host of accolades this year from partners and independent testers, including Google Cloud, SE Labs, MRG Effitas, and AV-TEST.
Every breakthrough, every win, is the result of some serious R&D and multiple teams moving forward together. And if our year has felt more like a concert tour than a conference circuit, that’s intentional. So why all the music?
There’s no I in legendary
You may have heard the weakest link in cybersecurity is people. While the data doesn’t lie, we also have seen great strength in the people who stand together.
This tour wouldn’t exist without the defenders, innovators, and changemakers we met around the world, or the partners who stood alongside us at every stop. You’re the reason the Legends Never Die tour lives up to its name. Our fans, collaborators, and roadies in the fight against cyber threats.
Our legacy in endpoint security, data loss prevention, and application control was built not by history alone, but because you’ve chosen us time and again to stand on your front line.
Like the music legends who inspire us—artists who filled vast arenas, broke boundaries, and redefined what greatness looks like—progress has always come from those willing to challenge what came before. In the same defiant spirit as Nirvana, Joan Jett, and David Bowie, we’ve spent decades pushing boundaries with trailblazing security solutions, and we’re still doing it today.
In less than a year, our experts toured the globe delivering the use case-driven expertise security teams crave—from London and Singapore to Vegas and Tokyo. If you missed a stop or two, here are the highlights of 2025’s iconic cybersecurity world tour.
Google Cloud Next 2025
April 9–11 | Las Vegas, Nevada
Google has long been one of our strongest partners in advancing cloud security, and at Google Cloud Next that partnership reached a new milestone. Google Cloud naming us its 2025 Partner of the Year for Security in Data Protection validated our shared success in making the cyberworld a safer place. Just one event in and already golden.
RSAC™ Conference 2025
April 28–May 1 | San Francisco, California
RSAC™ 2025 was a standout this year, with Symantec and Carbon Black generating serious buzz across the showfloor. From a standout booth on the exhibit floor to a packed house on stage, our expert team stole the spotlight to showcase enterprise-grade security carefully engineered for businesses of every size. But that’s not all we did.
We also took the stage not once, but twice, to address issues security teams just can’t afford to ignore with our talk ECH: Hello to Enhanced Privacy or Goodbye to Visibility? Then in Under Siege: How APTs and Nation-States are Targeting Everyone, Eric Chien and Jason Rolleston called out a sobering shift in the threat landscape: no one is outside a bad actor’s radar anymore. Between the exclusive 1:1 meetings, our AI photobooth swag, and RSAC’s energy, we left San Francisco knowing this stop would be remembered for years to come.
Black Hat USA
August 2–7 | Las Vegas, Nevada
We brought big energy, rockin’ expertise, and arena-level hype to Black Hat USA. Our now famous AI photobooth gave visitors a chance to live out their inner album cover fantasies and walk away with the coolest new LinkedIn profile pics on the strip. Not only did we celebrate the music legends with a playlist I still have on repeat, our booth was buzzing with headliner-worthy 1:1 chats with our experts and showstopping demos of our next-gen security setlist and breakthrough AI/ML capabilities.
DEF CON 33
August 7–10 | Las Vegas, Nevada
One of our best, Paul Miller—Security Strategist who earlier in his career helped to thwart coordinated attacks on U.S. nuclear sites—embarked on a side quest at DEF CON, starting with his detailed guide to surviving hacker summer camp without getting pwned. Then, he teamed up with privacy advocate Katelyn Bowden for an electric session on privacy and data ownership. It was peak chaotic-good vibes, just the way DEF CON rolls.
Where government security met epic defenses
Billington Cybersecurity Summit
September 9–12 | Washington, D.C.
GovWare Conference
October 21–23 | Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
When the tour rolled through the public-sector circuit, we showed up strong. In D.C., we hit the Billington Cybersecurity Summit with our longtime partner Carahsoft to show how our defenses support mission-critical government environments. We also took the stage with other industry pundits to unravel AI’s role in defense. Then it was wheels-up to Singapore for GovWare with Westcon-Comstor, where high-stakes security met high-energy fun. Not to mention the infamous cybersecurity expert Labubu and a pop-icons upgrade to our swaggin’ AI photobooth.
Black Hat Europe
December 8–11 | London, U.K.
In Paul Miller’s words, all the cool kids were in London for Black Hat EU—and that included Symantec and Carbon Black alongside our partner Arrow. We wrapped our year-long tour on a spectacular note with AI Unleashed: Witness the Next Generation of Cyber Offence and Defence. Led by Security Strategist Paul Miller and Principal Intelligence Analyst Dick O’Brien, the session pulled back the curtain on how AI shifts the balance between attackers and defenders. It was a mic drop way to end the year.
Actions that speak louder than logos
Multiple dates | Worldwide
All year long, our team—and often Enterprise Security Group’s General Manager Jason Rolleston—showed up for our partners worldwide for a packed run that spanned SecTor, Inspire, Interop Tokyo, Infosec Europe, Billington Cybersecurity Summit, GovWare, Arrow Accelerate, and GITEX Global conferences. Shoulder-to-shoulder with our partners—TD Synnex, Arrow, Carahsoft, Westcon-Comstor, Ness, and MBCOM—we led the charge for a safer cyber world. Because when we show up together, we win together.
On the road again 🎶
Last year we rocked the global cybersecurity stage—and took titles (Top Leaders, Best Cybersecurity Company, need I go on?)—along the way. This year, we’re keeping the energy cranked all the way up to 11, working tirelessly to make sure our defenses keep you resilient and supercharged for 2026.
Our next stop on the tour that never dies: RSAC™ Conference 2026. Follow us on our socials (Symantec and Carbon Black) for the when, where, and who. We’ll be dropping updates as the countdown begins.
